The man who stole the summer

This picture is an entry for contest on one russian forum dedicated to GF. The theme is "GF + summer".
The majority of the participants drew some love or humor scenes on the beach, and maybe that's why I decided to show some drama and drew Sonny Blackbones after the infamous explosion but before he knows his son is alive.

So here you can see Sonny Blackbones, a man who unwillingly "stole" the warmth from his native planet and turned it into a crystal kingdom of ice and snow. In the story I want to tell through the picture he is haunted by the shadows of the past every time he sees summer on other planet. Maybe it's just very hard to handle the warmth outside knowing that your heart will never experience it again. The summer of Sonny Blackbones is gone forever. Alongside with his family.
